Lagos govt suspends planning approvals along Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road

Lagos State Government has announced the immediate suspension of planning approvals within the corridor of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road project. This was disclosed in a statement issued on Monday by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr Oluyinka Olumide, at Alausa. According to Olumide, the decision was taken to address the implications of the coastal highway project on existing and ongoing physical development frameworks in the state.
