An officer of the Nigeria Police Force, Inspector Okolie Amechi, has died in a tragic case of accidental discharge after being shot by his 10-year-old son while on duty at Polaris Bank, Awka, Anambra State.It is reported that the incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. on Sunday at the bank’s premises located along Zik Avenue by Okeke Street.According to an internal police signal obtained by SaharaReporters, Inspector Amechi was on night duty when his first son, Dominion Vincent, mistakenly fired a round from the officer’s AK-47 rifle, hitting him fatally in the spine from behind.The bullet (…)
