Edo Farmer Murdered, Buried by Workers Over N900,000 Pineapple Sales

A 56-year-old farmer, Henry Oyagbomwan, was tragically killed and buried in a shallow grave by five of his farm workers in Igueze village, Ovia Northeast local government area of Edo State. The incident occurred on May 13, 2025, after the victim sold pineapples worth N900,000 at his farm.The workers allegedly collected the money from the pineapple sales, killed their employer, and fled to different locations.They demanded a ransom of N60 million from the family but later settled for N300,000 before cutting off communication.One of the suspects, Bassey Uyong Umeh, was arrested in a creek, (…)
