Worshippers Injured as Church Building Collapses in Taraba

A devastating incident occurred in Taraba State when a church building collapsed during a Sunday service, injuring several worshippers. The United Methodist Church Nigeria (UMCN) in Jantaro community, Mutum-Biyu town, Gassol Local Government Area, caved in due to heavy rainfall and a strong windstorm on June 15, 2025.Many worshippers were injured, with some sustaining fractures.
