Lagos seals Building for Polluting Public Drain with Sewage

The Lagos State Government, through the Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, on Saturday, sealed a residential property located at No. 59, Ajoke Okusanya Street, off Ago Palace Way, Okota, for illegally discharging raw sewage into a public drainage channel.A statement released by the Commissioner, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Lagos State, Tokunbo Wahab, on Sunday, stated that the enforcement action was carried out by officials of the Lagos State Wastewater Management Office, following surveillance and confirmed reports that the occupants of the (…)
