Court admits ‘Radio Biafra’ transmitter allegedly smuggled into Nigeria by Kanu

A Federal High Court in Abuja has admitted in evidence a radio transmitter allegedly smuggled into the country by the detained self-acclaimed leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.The court also heard how a searching warrant obtained from a Chief Magistrate Court in Ihiala, Anambra State, led to the recovery from the home of an associate of Kanu, Benjamin Madubugu, at Ubuluisiuzor, two unlicensed pump action guns, some ammunition, laptop computers, and some quantity of marijuana.Justice James Omotosho admitted the transmitter along with a 20-foot container in which (…)
