Fuel Station Engulfed in Flames in Lagos

A fuel station located on Old Akute Road in Obawole, Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos, has been razed by fire. The incident occurred on Wednesday while a petrol tanker was offloading fuel at the station.The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has confirmed the incident, and officials from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service have arrived at the scene to contain the situation.According to Jubril Gawat, Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, efforts are underway to prevent the fire from spreading and to ensure the safety of the (…)
