Federal High Court Lagos Division to Begin E-Filing System

The Federal High Court, FHC, has formally announced the commencement of its electronic filing (e-filing) system in the Lagos Division, set to take effect on Monday, June 23, 2025.A circular issued by the Chief Registrar of the FHC, Sulaiman Amida Hassan, notified members of the legal community that traditional manual filing for new cases in the Lagos Division will be discontinued as of Friday, June 20, 2025.The Chief Registrar clarified: “However, all cases instituted before the commencement of the e-filing system will continue to be handled manually until their final disposition.”The (…)
