The Nigeria Environmental Society, NES, Abeokuta chapter, has called on residents of the state to properly manage their plastic waste in order to prevent plastic pollution and create a safer, healthier, and cleaner environment.The Chairman of the society, Badmus Jamiu, made the call today in a statement to commemorate the 2025 World Environment Day.This year’s celebration is themed, “Putting an End to Plastic Pollution.”According to Jamiu, although plastic is incredibly beneficial to humankind and provides a living for millions of people, it poses a serious threat to the environment.He (…)
