GWR: Nigerian Sets Record for Longest Trumpet Playing Marathon

A Nigerian trumpeter, Joshua Olusanya, known as Trumpet Influencer, has been officially confirmed by Guinness World Records as the holder of the record for the ‘Longest Marathon Playing the Trumpet’, following a previous disqualified attempt in February 2024.Olusanya’s initial attempt was disqualified for disrupting his performance to drink water, an action not permitted under GWR attempt guidelines.In May 2025, Olusanya again attempted a marathon trumpet performance which lasted 25 hours, 30 minutes, and 36 seconds from May 9 to 10 at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos.Olusanya shared (…)
