The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Monday replied to remarks by a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bode George, that the party made him. Wike insisted that he made PDP popular and won elections, unlike George, who could not help the party win elections in Lagos State. Addressing his monthly press briefing in Abuja, the Minister said George should retire to his house and read newspapers if he has no job. He berated the PDP chieftain over his remark regarding the sealing of the PDP’s National Secretariat over inability to pay ground rent. (…)
