Raees Abacha, the grandson of late military Head of State, Sani Abacha, says his grandfather saved the life of his friend and classmate, General Ibrahim Babangida, IBB, while they were both in the military. The younger Abacha also cast doubt on the contents of IBB’s book, ‘Journey In Service’. This is coming after the release of former military President, Babangida’s memoir which has reignited debates about Nigeria’s political history.
