PDP wins ALL 30 LGAs, 332 wards in Osun

The candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the local government election in Osun state have been declared winners of the 30 LGAs and 323 wards. Hashim Abioye, chairman of the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC) announced the result after the exercise on Saturday. “I’m glad to announce to you that the local government election as conducted by the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission has been successfully concluded,” Abioye said. “It was conducted in compliance with constitutional provisions and extant laws, regulations and guidelines.
