Adamawa Governor revokes own traditional title, strips Atiku, Haruna, others

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has revoked traditional titles held by himself, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Governor Boni Haruna, and several others following the restructuring of emirates and chiefdoms in the state. Fintiri announced the decision during the coronation of the newly installed Chief of Madagali, emphasizing that all District Heads must now align with the newly created emirates and chiefdoms.
