Osun LG election: Davido makes U-turn, acknowledges police effort; calls for peaceful polls

Popular singer David Adeleke, aka Davido, has urged security agencies in Osun State to redouble their efforts to sustain peace in the state. Davido made this known on his X page on Monday. The musician had earlier accused the State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Abba, of not following the rule of law after thugs invaded all 30 local government councils in the state and killed three people. However, he said that after reviewing the situation in the state, he now appreciates the efforts of the Osun State CP.
