United States President Donald Trump has suggested that the 14th Amendment right to American citizenship never had anything to do with modern-day “gate-crashers”. Trump insisted that it had everything to do with granting citizenship to former slaves. The President stated this in a post on Truth Social, claiming that the US founding fathers are “spinning in their graves” at the idea that the country could be taken away from its people.
