LG crisis: Two ‘killed’ as APC, PDP supporters clash in Osun

Gunmen have reportedly shot two people dead in Boripe LGA in the Osun state. The crisis occurred on Monday when supporters of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) clashed over the resumption of sacked APC LG chairmen, who were said to have been reinstated by a court order. When contacted Yemisi Opalola, the state police spokesperson, told TheCable she is yet to be briefed on the incident. “I have not heard that (the shooting incident), let me make enquiry,” Opalola said.
