Saudi Arabia lauds Trump, Putin phone call

Saudi Arabia on Friday commended the phone call between the US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, welcoming the idea of them meeting in the Kingdom.According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, it could take several months to arrange a meeting between Putin and Trump, possibly in the Saudi capital Riyadh.Recall that the two leaders spoke on Wednesday and announced their intention to meet face-to-face.Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was the first foreign leader Trump called immediately after taking office.The US President described the Crown Prince as (…)
