Betty Akeredolu, the wife of the late Rotimi Akeredolu, says the former governor of Ondo would not have died of cancer if he had listened to her. Akeredolu died on December 27, 2023, aged 67, from prostate cancer complications. In an interview with Olumide Akinrinlola, publisher of Star News, Akeredolu’s wife said if her late husband had chosen medical treatment over spiritual practices, he would have still been alive. “When it comes to religion, I tell people to keep to their lanes while I keep mine.
