President Bola Tinubu’s proposed tax reform bills has passed for second reading in the House of Representatives. The bills passed for second reading after a long debate on the floor of the House. The four tax reform bills, the Joint Revenue Board of Nigeria, Establishment, Bill 2024, the Nigeria Revenue Service (Establishment) Bill 2024, the Nigeria Tax Administration Bill 2024, and the Nigeria Tax Bill 2024 – are meant to overhaul the Nigerian tax system.
