Dangote refinery to operate at full capacity in 30 days

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery could begin operating at full capacity in 30 days. Edwin Devakumar, vice-president of Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) spoke to Reuters on Monday. At full capacity, the plant will be processing about 650,000 barrels of crude per day — an amount experts have said is more than sufficient to handle local demand of petroleum products. “The refinery is currently operating at 85 percent capacity and we can go 100 percent in 30 days,” Devakumar said.
