Successful leader must step on toes – Obasanjo

Former President, Olusegun Obasajo has said no leader can achieve success without stepping on toes. Obasanjo stated this on Sunday, while playing host to Dr. Dayo Israel, the new chairman, Board of Management of Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta. The familiarization courtesy visit had the Centre’s Medical Director, Prof Adewale Musa-Olomu and members of his Management team. The former president charged the new chairman to brace up for the challenges ahead and be ready to step on toes, if necessary. He maintained that doing so would yield a successful tenure of office.
